Barry Clock proved himself to be a solid two-sport athlete for the Pioneers. On the football field, Clock earned All-Conference First-Team honors in 1968 & 1970 and All-District First-Team three year’s running from 1968 to 1970. He helped the Pioneers to two football Conference Championships in 1967 & 1969. As a wrestler, Clock placed 1st both years to help the 1968 and 1970 teams win the Northwest Conference Championship.
Barry Clock is a retired from teaching at Newport High School. He and his wife Julie have been married for almost 40 years and are currently living near Sisters, Oregon. They have two children, Kevin & Kristy and three grand kids, Tristen, Taylor & Konnor. Barry has written a couple of books since retiring and still enjoy traveling, photography, sports, reading, hiking and fishing. His favorite hobby is joking around ...a skill he learned from the smartest and funniest guys he's ever known, while playing sports at Lewis & Clark.
