Ito started at center on the offensive line all four years at Lewis & Clark, blocking for a number of running backs who averaged 100 yards per game. As a member of the last L&C football team to make the national playoffs, he was named First-Team Columbia Football League Offensive Line in both 1992 and 1993 and Honorable Mention in 1991.
Ito lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with his wife Ashley and three children, Emma, Ethan and Camryn. He is an attorney in private practice and concentrate in the areas of estate planning and probate. Since graduating from Lewis and Clark in 1994, he has coached high school wrestling and football in Honolulu, Hawaii. He recently “retired” from coaching to spend quality time with his own children. However, Ito plans on returning to coaching when the kids are a little older (and his wife says he can). He has been training Gracie Jiu Jitsu for the past 20 years and on his free time you can find him on the mats!
