Considered to be one of the finest all-around athletes to represent Lewis & Clark in an era before conference standings, statistics, all-star teams, and national championship competition for women, Duckering was an exceptional basketball and volleyball player for four years and one of the area’s top tennis players. She graduated summa cum laude and was recognized as the top senior in five academic departments.
