A three-year letter winner in track & field, at the time of induction Green was the L&C record holder in the triple jump and the long jump. She placed in the Northwest Conference Championships 13 times for a total of 46 points, which is the fourth highest total in Pioneer history. She is also ranked in the top-10 all-time at L&C in six individual events: 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, triple jump and the heptathlon. Green was selected an NAIA All-American (1997) and a two-time Acadmic All-American (1997, 1998). She was named the Lois Smithwick Co-Athlete of the Year and Judy McMullen Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 1997.
Green lives in St. Louis Park, Minn. with her partner, David, and their two dogs. They are currently waiting to be matched with a birth mom and finalize a domestic infant adoption. Green is a social studies teacher and coach in Hopkins, Minn, also serving as the head volleyball and assistant head track and field coach, and was recently honored as the 2012 Section 4A Assistant Coach of the Year. In her free time, Green enjoys an active lifestyle playing Ultimate Frisbee, softball, and volleyball. She and David love to garden, and enjoy a large harvest each summer. Green stays close with several friends from college including some of her former teammates.
