A powerful running back who scored 25 career touchdowns, Baisch was known as “The Tank." He typified the offense of the undefeated 1950 team. He was named a Williamson System All-American and Associated Press Honorable Mention Little All-American as a senior. As a freshman, he was named to the Third-Team All-NWC, as a sophomore earned Honorable Mention, and was First-Team All-NWC as a junior and senior. Baisch averaged 8.3 yards per carry as a senior.
